Organization
This slide deck gives an overview of the Data Excellence (DX) Organization of the City of Vienna.
The data excellence organization is an integrated part of the existing organizational structure of the City of Vienna. It governs the cooperation regarding data capture, processing, and usage.
The DX organization distinguishes these roles
- Data Steward
- Data Expert
- Data User
- Data Consumer
In addition, a Data Governance Coordinator administers and coordinates Data Excellence in the City of Vienna. A Data Governance Advisory Board serves to coordinate data-related topics. And the IT department (called MA 01 - Wien Digital) supports regarding methods and technology.
